SUB AQUA DiveCenter offers PADI courses for complete beginners, through the full range of PADI scuba diving courses. If you have never tried scuba diving before, this is no problem.

If you are interested to see what is beneath the surface of the ocean then we have plenty of possibilities for you to try diving or go further to become a Scuba Diver with your own diving certificate!

If you have already completed your PADI Open Water Diver course (or a diving course from another diving agency, such as SSI) then there are many possibilities to continue your education, with a range of fulfilling PADI Specialty courses.

TRY DIVING : total beginner
Breathing underwater for the first time is one of the most exhilarating and thrilling activities you can do! Imagine being face to face with the underwater world and a plethora of fantastic underwater creatures. It starts here!

SCUBA COURSE: you can start as a complete beginner!
Scuba diving is addictive and pretty much anybody can learn scuba diving, over the age of 10. Once you start diving, you will want to keep diving and for that, you will want your PADI Open Water Diver license.
You have taken the first step in deciding you want to learn scuba diving and SUB AQUA DiveCenter is the right choice to make it happen!

CONTINUING EDUCATION: take the next level!
You are now a certified diver. You have already experienced being underwater and the thrill of discovering the amazing underwater world but you know there is more to discover. That is where SUB AQUA DiveCenter can assist you in discovering new dive adventures and improving your scuba skills with Adventure Dives and the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course.

SPECIALTY COURSES: focus on your diving skills!
PADI Specialty courses allow you to focus on a particular diving skill that you enjoy or want to improve. Each Specialty takes you past the Advanced Open Water Diver level in that skill to give you more in-depth learning about wreck diving, Nitrox diving, deep diving, and many more diving specialty options. SUB AQUA DiveCenter instructors have the experience to help you master your scuba skills with the PADI Specialty course of your choice.

ONLINE COURSES: Digital Study options
Elearning is the original online PADI learning platform and is available to student divers wanting to complete the theoretical portion of their course at a relaxed pace, anywhere that there is an internet connection.

SUB AQUA DiveCenter have recently launched the use of PADI Open Water Touch in their Maldives dive centers so you can now also complete the theory for your course offline while using an Apple IOS or Android based tablet device. This downloadable tablet based course has a rich interactive learning option that is available for download through the PADI Library. It integrates, learning objectives and curriculum and videos in a rich interactive learning experience.

Am I fit enough to scuba dive?
Before commencing any PADI scuba diving course, you must complete the PADI Medical Statement (downloadable from this page). Please check that you can answer 'no' to all questions on the first page of the medical statement.
If you can mark all questions with 'no' then you are deemed fit to participate in any PADI course.
If you must answer 'yes' to any of the questions, then you must print the form and get a signature of approval from your Doctor before you commence your course. In this case, you must bring the signed PADI medical statement to the dive center when you want to start your diving course.
