After seeing octopus in Maldives and capturing on video, we had to find out more so here are some facts on octopus in Maldives:
1. All octopuses are venomous – but only the small blue-ringed octopus (mostly found in waters around Australia) is dangerous to humans.
2. Octopus in Maldives change colour for camouflage
3. The female octopus will not eat anything after mating until giving birth
4. The male soon dies after mating, while the female soon dies after giving birth. Mating literally signals the end of life for an octopus!
