SUB AQUA DiveCenter partner with iQ-DIVE in Khao Lak.

iQ-DIVE are an SSI Instructor Training Center located in the heart of Khao Lak Thailand. SUB AQUA DiveCenter have known the owners Ernst (Switzerland) and wife, Meaw (Thailand), for many years. In 2016 iQ-DIVE are celebrating 20 years of successful operation diving Thailand's west coast.

You will find iQ-DIVE around 60 minutes north of Phuket International Airport.

Khao Lak is the perfect destination to relax, particularly for families and children. Pristine beaches, dense tropical rain forest, waterfalls and endless opportunities for outdoor activities such as canoeing the mangroves, hiking to nearby waterfalls and of course, scuba diving the Similan Islands!

If you are interested in scuba diving and snorkeling day trips to the famous Similan Islands, Ko Bon, Ko Tachai and Richelieu Rock then we can guarantee that iQ-DIVE will take care of you.

Although diving in Phuket is available year-round, the high season for Khao Lak and Similan Islands is mid-October to mid-May.

Similan Islands perfect for diving and snorkeling

This chain of nine beautiful islands off Thailand's west coast are the jewels of the Andaman Sea! Declared a national park in 1982, they are famous as one of the world's best dive and snorkel sites. From Khao Lak, you can dive and snorkel these islands with a day trip on board MV Chai Yo.

Day trips to Similan Islands depart every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Sunday day trips go to the islands of Ko Bon and Ko Tachai.
This trip is perfect for certified divers!

Non-divers (snorkelers) have the option to step on the beach on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The Sunday trip is better suited to good swimmers, with a minimum age of 12 years because of the strong currents often experienced at Ko Bon and Ko Tachai.

The best conditions are November to April. Non-diving guests on board MV Chai Yo receive maximum attention with a professional snorkel guide.
